Ingredients
- Capsicum - 4
- Potatoes boiled - 6
- Onion finely chopped - 1
- Cumin - 1 tsp Red
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Garam masala - 2 tsp
- Dry mango - 1 tsp
- Oil salt - as per taste
Method
- first take capsicum, wash it and cut off the upper part and separate the stem.
- Keep them aside in a plate.
- After this take out the seeds of capsicum.
- Now put some oil in a pan and keep it on medium flame to heat.
- When the oil becomes hot, put cumin seeds in it.
- When cumin starts crackling, add chopped onion and a pinch of asafoetida and fry till it becomes golden.
- Now reduce the flame and add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder to it and mix it well with onions.
- Now take boiled potatoes and peel them and mash them well.
- Now add mashed potatoes to the onion mixture and mix well.
- Mix it while stirring it with a ladle.
- During this, keep the gas flame low.
- Now add garam masala, dry mango powder, green coriander and salt as per taste to the stuffing and mix.
- Now stuffing is ready for stuffing in capsicum.
- Now take capsicum and fill potato stuffing in it and keep the part of the stalk removed from above. Now once again put oil in the pan and keep it on medium flame to heat.
- When the oil becomes hot, put the stuffed capsicum in it and cover the pan.
- Now let it fry. Cook it till the capsicum becomes soft.
- After this turn off the gas flame.
- Your delicious capsicum is ready. It can be served with roti or paratha.
